Ford Strives to Achieve Zero Water Use

Did you know that less than one percent of the world's water is compatible for human use? According to data from WaterSense, an EPA Partnership Program, the other 99-percent includes salt water and fresh water trapped in ice caps, both of which are either unsuitable or inaccessible. That is why it is important to utilize what precious natural resource is available with great care because it is essential in sustaining the quality of life as we know it. Even the Ford Motor Company agrees.

Recently, Ford committed to a goal of Zero Water Use. In fact, the automaker was able to cut back its water usage for manufacturing by 61-percent in just 15 years starting in 2000. That statistic is nearly halfway to the finish line, which is a clear indication that Ford is on-track to meet its final goal sometime in the near future.

By reducing dependency on limited resources, the automaker is fostering an eco-conscious environment that is for the benefit of all. That is why we can proudly say that Holzhauer Auto & Motorsports Group is proud to carry the Ford lineup. We look forward to other innovative leaps Ford is sure to make in the coming years.
